Description

One continuous curve of wood starts at the floor beside your bed and ends directly above the center of your pillow. No nightstand lamp, no pendant cord, no ceiling fixture. Just a single arc that puts light exactly where you sleep.

The stem is a rectangular section, wider than it is deep, which gives it the structural stiffness to hold the wide parasol shade at full extension without sway or droop. Grain runs the length of the curve. The wood darkens slightly where the bend is tightest at the top of the arc, where compression and tension stress the fibers in opposite directions. That tonal shift is natural and varies with each piece.

The shade is a wide, shallow parasol. Viewed from above, it looks like a smooth disc with concentric grooves turning across the surface. Viewed from below, the story changes. Dozens of individual slats radiate from a center ring outward to the rim, spaced with narrow gaps between each one. Light from the integrated LED passes through those gaps and projects a radial gill pattern onto the bed surface below. The pattern is warm, amber-toned, and shifts as you move underneath it.

At full brightness, the gill slats throw enough light to read by. The pattern is visible but secondary to the useful downward illumination. Dimmed to twenty or thirty percent, the functional light recedes and the pattern takes over. The gaps between slats glow softly, turning the underside of the parasol into a geometric warm display that drifts you toward sleep rather than keeping you alert.

The parasol diameter is wide enough to cover the head and torso area of a queen or king bed from a single position beside the headboard. Because the shade is shallow, it hangs well above head height even at the lowest point of the arc. You sit up in bed and clear it easily. You stand beside the bed and walk under it without ducking.

The base sits on the floor beside the bed frame. It is weighted internally so the full horizontal reach of the arc stays balanced without requiring attachment to the bed or wall. Move it to the other side of the bed, next to an armchair, or into a different room entirely. The lamp is freestanding and self-supporting.

The dimmable LED driver responds to a low-profile touch switch on the cord near the base. No reaching overhead, no pull chain, no wall switch required. Adjust brightness from bed level with one hand.

Care & Maintenance

Furniture Placement

Position your furniture away from direct sunlight, or use blinds or curtains to reduce sun exposure.
Always set your furniture on a level surface to preserve its balance and structure.

Cleaning & Upkeep

Regularly wipe down your furniture with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth.
Avoid using harsh chemicals like bleach or ammonia, as these can ruin the finish and damage the wood.

Weight Capacity & Use

Respect the recommended weight limit for each piece to ensure its durability.
When moving furniture, lift it instead of dragging or pushing to prevent surface scratches or joint damage.

Preventing Mold & Mildew

Quickly wipe up any spills to stop moisture from penetrating the wood.
In areas with high humidity, use a dehumidifier to maintain an ideal moisture balance.
