Sculptural Wave Floating Shelf - Hand carved Solid Wood Wall Art Shelf
Guaranteed safe & secure checkout
This wave floating shelf starts as a single slab of solid wood. Our Vietnamese artisans hand-carve the crescent shape from raw timber. No CNC machines. No plywood layers. No MDF core. Just a woodworker, hand tools, and a block of hardwood.
The curved body sweeps upward from the wall into a flat display surface at the crest. Set a small plant, candle, or keepsake on top. Below, the curled tail completes the wave's motion. Most curved floating shelves you'll find online are machine-cut from laminated plywood or molded MDF. This one is carved from a solid slab, so the grain flows continuously through every curve.
?? Preview Your Design Before Production
We photograph and video your actual piece before packing. You review the grain pattern, color tone, and finish, then approve before we ship. No surprises.
?? Solid Wood, Real Grain
Teak and elm are dense hardwoods with natural oils that resist moisture, warping, and cracking. The grain pattern on your shelf is one of a kind. No stains, no veneers, no printed wood-look film. What you see is the wood itself.
?? Wall Art That Holds Weight
This shelf is a decorative wall piece on its own. The flat top surface supports up to 15 lbs, enough for books, a small plant, or a framed photo.
?? Where to Place It
Living room: mount above a sofa or beside a TV. Display a candle, small plant, or art object.
Entryway: use as a key and wallet tray by the door. The wave shape turns a blank wall into a focal point.
Bedroom: works as a floating nightstand. Set your phone, a book, or a reading lamp on the crest.
Bathroom: teak resists moisture, so it holds up near sinks and showers. Good for a rolled towel, soap dish, or diffuser.
Home office: break up a flat wall above your desk. Keep a pen holder or small succulent on display.
?? Sustainably Sourced Hardwood
Crafted from responsibly harvested teak or elm, depending on current availability. Finished with a non-toxic, water-resistant coating that protects the wood and brings out the natural color without hiding it.
?? Concealed Wall Mount
Hidden bracket system built into the back. No visible hardware on the wall. The shelf appears to float. All mounting hardware and instructions included.
