Description

A warm wooden arc curves from the floor beside the crib, sweeping up behind the nursing chair and overhead, where a wide translucent mushroom cap hangs like a glowing canopy above you and your child. The cap lights up from within, its thinned wood grain turning into a map of flowing golden rivers visible from every corner of the nursery. Below the cap rim, soft light spills downward onto the book in your hands, the baby in your lap, and the stuffed animals on the rug. The stem is the same warm honey tone as the cap, knotted and sculpted, following a gentle crescent curve that frames your reading corner like the arch of a storybook forest.

Translucent Glowing Cap

The cap is turned from a single piece of selected wood, thinned across its surface to 4-6mm. At this thickness, the warm LED light inside passes through the grain itself, illuminating the wood's internal structure in glowing amber, honey, and golden tones. Cathedral grain arcs appear as dark flowing lines against a bright golden field. The cap shape is a wide, shallow cone with a gently flared rim, creating a lampshade silhouette that spreads light both downward and outward. The rim is left slightly thicker to hold its shape and to allow soft gill-like ridges that add a secondary ring of directed downward light beneath the diffused cap glow. When dimmed to its lowest setting, the cap emits a soft golden night glow visible from the crib without disturbing sleep.

Sculpted Crescent Arc Stem

The stem is carved from solid wood into a smooth, flowing crescent that sweeps from the base upward and overhead in a wide C-curve. The surface is finished to a warm satin in the same golden honey tone as the cap, with natural knots, grain swirls, and branch scars left visible and sealed. The stem curves are smooth and continuous, with no sharp bends, edges, or protruding elements. Every surface a child could reach is rounded and polished. The warm, unified tone of stem and cap creates a storybook quality, as if the lamp grew from the nursery floor like a friendly tree bending to share its light.

Tree Stump Base

The base is a thick cross-cut section of natural tree stump with bark left intact around the rim. Growth rings are visible on the flat top surface. The stump is heavy and wide, providing stable counterweight for the crescent arc and the cap hanging at its far end. The low center of gravity resists tipping. A non-slip felt pad protects the nursery floor.

Child-Safe Design

Every material and finish is chosen for a baby's room. The natural oil finish is non-toxic and food-safe. The LED runs cool to the touch with no exposed bulbs, no hot surfaces, and no glass components. All edges and surfaces along the arc are rounded smooth. The heavy stump base prevents tipping even if a toddler leans or pulls on the stem. The cord exits from the back of the base and can be routed behind furniture, through a cord cover, or under a rug.

Placement

Built for a nursery beside the crib and reading chair, a toddler's bedroom, a playroom reading corner, or a children's library nook. The overhead translucent glow provides warm reading light for storytime, gentle ambient light for nursing, and a soft golden night light for overnight. Also works in a living room reading corner or a master bedroom where the warm arc and glowing cap create a cozy, storybook atmosphere.

Care

Wipe the translucent cap gently with a soft dry cloth. Reapply wood oil once a year with a non-toxic formula. Dust the sculpted stem and stump base with a soft brush. The thinned cap is sealed but should be handled gently. LED components need no maintenance. Keep the cord secured away from small children.

Handcrafted by Vietnamese artisans. The crescent stem is sculpted from selected solid wood. The translucent cap is turned thin enough to glow while remaining structurally sound. Every surface is finished by hand. No molds. No CNC machines. No two lamps will ever look the same.

Care & Maintenance

Furniture Placement

Position your furniture away from direct sunlight, or use blinds or curtains to reduce sun exposure.
Always set your furniture on a level surface to preserve its balance and structure.

Cleaning & Upkeep

Regularly wipe down your furniture with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth.
Avoid using harsh chemicals like bleach or ammonia, as these can ruin the finish and damage the wood.

Weight Capacity & Use

Respect the recommended weight limit for each piece to ensure its durability.
When moving furniture, lift it instead of dragging or pushing to prevent surface scratches or joint damage.

Preventing Mold & Mildew

Quickly wipe up any spills to stop moisture from penetrating the wood.
In areas with high humidity, use a dehumidifier to maintain an ideal moisture balance.
