Description

A mushroom made of solid wood stands between your armchair and your side table, tall enough to look you in the eye when you sit down. The sculpted stem and the wide cap share the same warm golden tone, the same flowing grain, the same natural knots. When the lamp switches on, hundreds of hand-carved gill lines under the cap fan warm amber light in a full sunburst across the hardwood floor, the stone fireplace, and the knitted blanket on the chair beside it. The rays spread in clean, even lines from the cap rim outward, drawing a circle of light on the floor that defines the reading corner.

Sculpted Solid Wood Stem

The stem is carved from a single log of solid wood, kiln-dried to prevent cracking and selected for its grain character, natural knots, and warm golden color. The surface is shaped to follow the organic form of a mushroom stipe, wider at the base, narrowing in the middle, and flaring where it meets the cap. The natural grain runs vertically through the stem in flowing lines, with dark knots appearing where branches once grew. The surface is smooth to the touch but retains visible tool marks and natural grain texture that give it a hand-shaped quality. No bark, no rough edges. The stem is finished in the same warm golden satin as the cap, creating a monolithic look where stem and cap appear to grow from the same piece of wood.

Wide Cap with Gill Sunburst

The cap is a broad, shallow dome carved from solid wood, matched in species and tone to the stem below. The top surface is polished smooth with flowing cathedral grain, natural color variation, and visible knots that echo those on the stem. Underneath, hundreds of tight, deep gill lines are carved by hand from the center outward to the rim. The gill spacing is even and precise, creating a clean sunburst pattern. The built-in LED strip sits at the stem junction and shines outward through every carved channel, projecting warm 2700K rays that are visible as individual lines of light on the floor and walls around the lamp. The gill glow effect from this cap is the strongest and cleanest in the mushroom collection because of the wide diameter and the deep, even carving. Dimmable from full room-filling brightness to a soft background glow.

One Tone, One Material

Unlike driftwood models where the grey stem contrasts with a golden cap, this lamp is unified in a single warm tone from base to cap. The visual effect is monolithic, as if the mushroom grew in one piece from the living room floor. The matched grain and color create a calm, grounding presence that anchors the room without visual tension.

The monolithic form reads as both furniture and sculpture.

Care

Wipe with a slightly damp cloth. Reapply wood oil once a year. Solid kiln-dried wood is stable and resistant to cracking in controlled indoor environments. LED components need no maintenance. Avoid excessive moisture and direct sunlight.

Handcrafted by Vietnamese artisans. The stem is sculpted from a single kiln-dried log. The cap is turned and carved from matched wood. Every gill line is cut by hand. No molds. No CNC machines. No two lamps will ever look the same.

Care & Maintenance

Furniture Placement

Position your furniture away from direct sunlight, or use blinds or curtains to reduce sun exposure.
Always set your furniture on a level surface to preserve its balance and structure.

Cleaning & Upkeep

Regularly wipe down your furniture with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth.
Avoid using harsh chemicals like bleach or ammonia, as these can ruin the finish and damage the wood.

Weight Capacity & Use

Respect the recommended weight limit for each piece to ensure its durability.
When moving furniture, lift it instead of dragging or pushing to prevent surface scratches or joint damage.

Preventing Mold & Mildew

Quickly wipe up any spills to stop moisture from penetrating the wood.
In areas with high humidity, use a dehumidifier to maintain an ideal moisture balance.
